Scope of work

What is included in each service is listed on the home page and forms part of these terms. Anything not listed is out of scope and will be quoted separately before it is started. No work outside an agreed scope is ever carried out and then invoiced afterwards.

Revisions

Website builds include two rounds of revisions after design approval. Further rounds are quoted before being carried out. Revisions are not unlimited, and that is stated here rather than discovered later.

Care plans

• Both plans carry a twelve month minimum term, because the work is front loaded.
• After the minimum term they run month to month.
• Cancellation after the minimum term requires 30 days notice in writing, including WhatsApp or email.
• Cancelling during the minimum term ends the service at the end of the paid month. The remaining months of the term stay payable.
• Your site, domain, records and content remain yours throughout. On cancellation I hand over everything needed to move to someone else.
• Priority plan edits are described as unlimited reasonable edits. Reasonable means content and maintenance changes, not a redesign or a new site delivered piecemeal.

Payment

• Prices are shown in US dollars. A naira option is available at checkout at the rate set on the day.
• Prices exclude any local taxes, duties or withholding you owe in your own country.
• One off work is payable in advance. Care plans bill monthly on the same date.
• Card payments are processed by Paystack. American Express cannot be used for recurring payments.
• If a renewal fails I will contact you before any service is suspended.

What I do not guarantee

Email authentication is configured and verified against public DNS, and I will show you it is correct. I cannot guarantee any particular provider's inbox placement, because that is decided by the receiving mail system and by your own sending history. I do not guarantee search rankings, traffic or sales.

Liability

Liability for any claim connected to the work is limited to the amount you paid for the service that the claim relates to, in the twelve months before the claim. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit or lost business. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Lagos State have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in your own country, this does not remove protections you have there that cannot be set aside by agreement.
